Let's EAT: A Capital Times Review

Good thing we had 2.5 years of practice, a trailer for hauling, and the most incredible team of women making bakery magic every weekend! This fantastic article dropped in the Capital Times last week and the last two baking days saw our sales DOUBLE.

This is very exciting for Far Breton Bakery, and not just for the increased sales. Our dream of moving into our own production facility is closer because of the elevation of the business profile in the community. The final piece of the trailer renovation (custom fitted door, plumbing & heat) is now financed and underway. This will allow us to apply for street vending somewhere on Madison's northside, and keep us happily baking and selling out of our bakery trailer all winter long!

In the meantime, we'll continue providing pre-ordered pickup at FEED Kitchen (click SHOP, make your selection, and arrive at FEED the following Friday between 8 a.m. and noon for your order). And the biggest and best selection is reserved for Sundays at the Northside Farmers Market (Sherman Avenue & Northport Drive, across from the Warner Park entrance). If you are in the Eau Claire area, check out the frozen selection at Just Local Food on Farwell Street where we have a selection of frozen baked goods year-round.

See you soon! ~ Marie
