2021 has been one heck of a year - which may be the understatement of the decade...
As far as the bakery goes anyway, we started the season at the Northside Farmer's Market with two tables and a tent and ended the season with a mobile bakery trailer! We kept our original crew intact from 2020 (!!), and saw another huge increase in customers and sales over this summer. The Northside Farmers Market will continue to be our main stage for bakery sales and new products - and we can't wait for next season to begin!
However, Far Breton Bakery didn't forget its roots back up north in Eau Claire! This past summer, we took the trailer on the road to Eau Claire's Food Truck Friday on three separate dates. And we continue to partner with Just Local Food, who recently merged with Menomonie Market Food Co-op, and we look forward to seeing new opportunities emerge there as well.
Far Breton Bakery's fantastic team of stellar bakery ladies came through weekend after weekend - we took off for the Fourth of July weekend and will continue to do so hereafter. We also took off for Halloween - and regular vacations are the reward for the team's hard work paying off. Biggest of thanks to Elle, Jacina, Marena, Maria-Christina, and Sheryl for rocking out the best pastries in town! Also, thanks to the Village of Maple Bluff and Kappel's Clock Shop for our new winter location on Sundays until next spring.
