Bond Offering for Far Breton Bakery coming soon...

Far Breton Bakery's had a very busy summer again! In addition to our 3 weekly farmers markets (Dane County Farmers Market and Northside Farmers Market), we have taken on all three Willy Street Co-ops for baked fresh delivery three times a week! We also are providing fresh bakery to Ledger Coffee Roasters (Garver Feed Mill location) and Broken Board Coffee (inside Focus Boardshop, east of East Towne Mall). And we continue to bring our delightful spiced sugar buns to The Old Fashioned on the Capital Square for their weekend brunch menu.

During all this, I've been working in the background with SMBX to develop a bond offering for the bakery. Our bakery colleague, Mermaid Bagels of Madison used The SMBX to raise capital for their recent expansion and spoke highly of their experience. The SMBX is the world’s first marketplace for issuing and buying small business bonds. Earn principal and interest monthly and help businesses grow. For as little as a $10 investment, the SMBX offers up to 11.50% interest on any principle monthly payment.

We'd like to raise at least $124k through SBMX, and there is the option to double the bond offering if we have enough investors immediately. The main purpose of the bond offering is to raise the down payment on purchasing our building, paying off a few outstanding invoices, and have a generous prudent reserve to carry us over the winter while I pursue and establish more wholesale accounts across Wisconsin! Helping us to buy our current building creates real stability for Far Breton Bakery for our continued success as a growing business and local employer.

If you are interested in this investment opportunity, please sign up at https://www.thesmbx.com/. Our bond offering is scheduled to "go live" on Tuesday, August 12 and there will be a 30 day window to invest.

Thank you so much for your support of our bakery and making our continued growth happen!
